The 'Rents
Nick is the hard-working, dragon-slaying hero of our story. His special powers include making awesome sound effects, trying out punny jokes on unsuspecting victims, and the ever important talent of being able to beat Super Mario in under five minutes. Self Reliance Specialist by day and Super Dad by night, Nick enjoys the outdoors, board games, and spending time with family. He currently dreams about buying a bigger, better gun/tv/car/anything else his wife won't let him buy!
Stevie likes to think she's the beautiful, clever heroine, but more often than not, she ends up the damsel in distress. Her days used to be filled with scrapbooking, blogging, reading, sewing, and cooking, but anymore she's lucky to keep the children cared for, volunteer as a youth group leader, run her own business and try to keep up with the ever mounting pile of dishes! Stevie is shy in a new situations, silly late at night, and too pragmatic about life to enjoy romance novels.
The Kidlings
Cutest kid #1 goes by the name of Landon. He's our serendipity child. Landon is a happy, independent eight-year-old. He enjoys video games, math, playing with friends, and science. He is often precocious and too smart for his own good. When he gets bigger, he want to be an engineer. He is scared of failure and change. His current obsession: convincing me to home school.
Cutest kid #2 goes by the name of Eliza. Our sweet five year old loves to sing, dance, and color. She loves preschool and primary. Lizzy is often the sunshine in our lives- full of sweet smiles, hugs, and "I love you!"s every day. Her biggest downfall is sucking her fingers. Her next biggest goals: going to kindergarten at the "big school" and wearing makeup.

Cutest kid #3 goes by the name Harrison. At two years old, he is a toddler tornado. Like the other ones, he's too smart for his own good and absolutely positive he should be able to do EVERYTHING the big people do. He climbs on all surfaces and otherwise causes all sorts of mayhem and destruction. His redeeming quality is that he's adorable! When not hanging from the ceiling fan, Harry loves reading stories, singing songs, having his head rubbed, naps (yes, really, it's my saving grace!) and going "bye-bye". He doesn't say much yet, but we're ready for the inevitable language explosion in the next year!
